The cool mornings we have been experiencing has helped with the algae. There is still some algea on the lake where depends on the wind direction. WE ARE NOT UNDER ANY KIND OF WATER QUALITY ADVISORY!! The water surface temperature continues to go down a little and the fishing is very good right now. The size of fish bsing caught is increasing also. Remember to bring your lunkers into the marina to get your 4 pounder pin and picture.
Fishing is very good, the bait of choice right now seems to be worm with marshmallow at the south end of the lake in 9 to 20 feet of water. Best is to fish the weed patch's. Reports from trollers is that they are catching mainly 8 inchers which would be this springs fingerlings.
Also people are doing well in 30 feet of water using the same worm and marshmallow.
Be sure to ask at our Marina if you are unsure where the hot spot is they have all the current hot spot information.
