Fishing Report

September 28, 2018

Fishing has remained very good all season. We just recently confirmed the first over 4 pound fish caught in quite awhile. It was caught at the south end of the lake with sherbet burst gulp dough bait. The south end of the lake has been very productive with reds or orange dough baits with a sliding sinker and 18" of leader. Worm and bobber has been working well at the south end also. Trollers are reporting allot of 8 to 10 inch fish lateley. In the mornings the water has been very clear. We are seeing areas of algee by the afternoon. If the forecasted rain hits Saturday that should clear up. As the lake temperature continues to drop we expect to see more large fish caught.
