Rode the bike path trail. Excellent scenery. So beautiful right next to the lake. Bike path could use some repair. Have to be ready to lift your bum off the seat or it's a bumpy 12 miles. Still worth it however, because the surroundings are gorgeous!

The cafe serves absolutely incredible food, truly tasty and worth visiting for the cafe alone (which is exactly what we did). The staff at the cafe are wonderful and fun. For the store and restaurant only: fair prices and friendly service, and finally a place in Southern Oregon where the staff are respecting the law and wearing masks. Nice outdoor seating and not terribly crowded during the week. More algae in the water on this side of the lake this time of year.

Granted, it is a little funky; older furnishings and such. There is nothing fancy. But you can't beat the customer service. There was a hail and rain storm on our last night and 1/2 the bedroom floor got wet from the leaky roof. We had to move in the storm- they gave us another room and the next day we discovered the shower in that s ... read more

Great resort on the lake. Only downside is that the cabins and studios are in BAD need of upkeep. I think the dead flies in the window sills have been there for years. Quite rustic but comfortable. If you are a clean freak . . . this may not be for you.

The resort operations managers son runs this place and it is a must go to pizza place. I have had pizza all around the Country and this place is by far the best. Great place to spend the weekend at. Lots of people and lots of mosquitoes too. Lol. You can see some in the picture. The little shop has everything you need to camp, fish, eat, etc. They also sell souvenirs and clothes. You can also rent a boat at the shop.

The fireworks were canceled for the 4th, but my kids were so excited to decorate their bikes and do the bike parade and scavenger hunt. We love how friendly and cautious the staff is. We always great experiences at the resort.

You come to a place like this for the atmosphere, not for the accommodation. You might even be surprised at how comfortable some of the rooms, cabins and campgrounds can be. Its not perfect, some of the resort is outdated...but simplicity is the key. It can be a base camp for many great daytime activities.

I love Diamond Lake, it's been a place that my father raised my brother and I during the summers. To the people that want to glamp, and get pampered go elsewhere this place is for the "do it yourself "true hands on campers! This resort stays the same as it was for years that's what makes it special. True Nature, and awesome staff!!!
