(Yes he did get chewed on for not wearing a helmet)

There are over 300 miles of well signed and groomed trails in the Diamond Lake area. Diamond Lake Resort and the Oregon State Snowmobile Association grooming program have put the Diamond Lake area in the top 15 favorite places to snowmobile in the west.

Snow West magazine readers have voted Diamond Lake the #1 groomed snowmobile trail systems in the west for 2007~2008.

At the false summit of Mt Bailey. The first mountain in the background is Diamond Peak near Oakridge on Hwy # 58 out of Eugene. In the distance, to the right of Diamond Peak is Mt. Bachelor Ski Area, The Three Sisters and Broken Top just west of Bend, Oregon. We could see the entire length of Oregon from Mt. Shasta in northern California, north to Mt. Hood east of Portland. What a day to be snowmobiling !!
